Saints in Full Flight

A podium place for Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club was missed by 35 seconds in this morning’s Greens Team Time Trial. The Yellows’ lined-up with Dermot Galea, Keith Galea, Daniel Gauci and Mark Vella to place a very creditable fourth, cycling the 40 kilometres in 59 minutes 30 seconds. The event was won by the Greens CC in 56 minutes 35 seconds, Melita Pedal Power were second in 57 minutes 26 seconds, while Qormi Scott grabbed third place in 58 minutes 55 seconds.
