Following the first race in the Club’s 5K Road Running Series 2012, Birkirkara St. Joseph Sports Club has now launched all the sports disciplines it organises during the summer months. The first stages of the Triathlon Series, the Open Water Swimming Championships and the 5K Road Running Series has attracted 281 participants. This proves the growing popularity of the Club’s events held annually during the summer months.
These events have also attracted top notch sponsorships, the likes of Festina Watches (Malta), The Cyclist of San Gwann, and PowerBar. Various other entities give valuable assistance to the Club in the organisation of these events.
