Rudolph Agius, Michelle Vella Wood and the Birkirkara St. Joseph Relay Team were simply untouchable as they roared to victory in the 2013 edition of the Malta Urban Jungle 113K Triathlon held recently at Birzebbuga.

A call early this afternoon from a local newspaper, enquiring whether I have heard or if I could confirm the news regarding Ishmael Muscat and his cycling accident in China, left me speechless. Obviously I could not confirm since I had no information. I called a couple of fellow officials regarding the matter, who promised to look into it. Confirmation that our fellow sportsman Ishmael Muscat lost his life while practicing his sport, reached me a few minutes later.
